A fascinating fusion! A new cuisine is created by blending the rich flavors and spices of the Middle East with the hearty, comforting elements of American cuisine.
Here's a starting point:
Name: MezAmer ( from Middle Eastern Meze and "Amer" from American)
Flavor Profile:
- Spices: cumin, coriander, sumac, paprika, and a hint of cinnamon
- Grains: pita bread, bulgur, and crispy falafel-inspired cornbread croutons
- Proteins: shawarma-style burgers, lamb kofta meatballs, and crispy chicken shawarma tenders
- Vegetables: roasted eggplant, zucchini, and red peppers, with a side of creamy hummus coleslaw
- Desserts: baklava-inspired apple pie, rosewater-infused cheesecake, and cardamom-spiced chocolate chip cookies
